Coral Piraeus has long experience on Silicon Hull Coating Application and is approved by all Paint Suppliers – Companies.
These paints claim to perform better in reducing hull overall resistance and have gained favor on Bulk Carrier, Passenger, Ro-Ro, and any type of vessels. Generally, Silicon-Based Fouling-Release paints promise a better techno-economic efficiency. This type of paints would increase the efficiency of the vessel, meaning: less fuel consumption, higher cruising speed, more waterproof surfaces, therefore extended dry dock-service intervals.
Silicon, when applied to the whole underwater area, Hull, Propellers and Rudders, unifies and prevents marine bio-organisms to stick to the surface while it doesn’t release biocides to the sea
